Living With Losses exists to provide support for individuals of all ages, families and groups who are experiencing the grief and pain that follow a profound Loss.  The Support and Education that Living With Losses provides are designed to help people recognize their Loss and Grief and help them learn and experience what will help them move through their grief in as healthy a way as possible.

Living With Losses is based on four realities in our lives.  First, profound Loss can be the source of painful and disruptive Grief in our lives to the point of becoming life-limiting.  Second, the death of a loved one is not the only Loss that can cause profound Grief.  ALL of the myriad Losses in our lives have the potential to cause heartbreaking and life-limiting Grief.  Third, Grief is not a pathological problem to be cured but ALL Losses are worth support and care.  Finally, humans usually are able to find our way through painful and difficult times when we have information than when we are without information.  This is why providing education, as well as support, is essential to Living With Losses.
